Ledger is a personal finance tool that reads your bank accounts and projects your balance forward. It is provided as-is, and it is not a bank, a broker, or a money transmitter. It cannot hold or move your money.
Every number Ledger shows about the future is an estimate, computed from patterns detected in your past transactions. Detection is imperfect: it can miss a bill, invent one that was a coincidence, or misjudge an amount that varies.
Do not treat a projection as a guarantee that a payment will clear or that a purchase is safe. Decisions you make with it are yours, and Ledger is not liable for their outcomes. Check your bank for anything that actually matters.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for the activity on your account. Give us an email address you actually control — it is how you recover access.
One account per person. Do not link accounts you are not authorised to access.
Bank connections are provided through Plaid, and your use of them is also subject to Plaid’s own terms and privacy policy. You can disconnect any institution at any time from Settings.
Ledger is early software. There is no uptime guarantee, features may change or be removed, and access may be suspended for accounts that abuse the service. We will give reasonable notice before anything that would cause you to lose data.
You can delete your account at any time, which deletes your data. We may close accounts that violate these terms.
